Waite & Rose Café — Restaurant in England

It looks like I am the first person to review the new Waite and Rose cafe, Gillingham. We returned there today after about 2 years due to Covid and the store revamp including the cafe area. What a huge disappointment! Since the revamp all attempts to provide hot food seem to have been cast aside. A very few microwaved pre packaged items which included a Bacon and Egg muffin and a Bacon bap. It was the best of a poor choice at the time. Along with two Americano's and hot milk. The coffee was so watered down that washing up water would have had more colour and the milk Luke warm. As for the bap and muffin, appalling would be an understatement. The muffin seemed tougher than the knife given to cut it and the filling of both was verging on a joke. I have attached a picture of the muffin showing 2 tiny squares of bacon approx 25mm in size and about a quarter of an egg. All for the bargain price of £12. If you think why I didn't complain, I felt sorry for the two your girls who were serving and not a supervisor in sight. You need to do SO much...
