Food nice. Customer service not so much. I have a baby and dog. I came out to try and get a bit of a break and it was anything but. They seated me right by the path of the kitchen, with no room for the pushchair or dog. I kept having to pull the dog in every other second, whilst trying to manage feeding my baby. They saw me struggling with both, and didnt move me to a more suitable seat. I was already becoming quite frustrated with the situation as I'd come out for a break and it was hard work. Then the chef came up to me and asked me to keep my dog in. There was clearly no space to put her anywhere. I found it really rude as they could clearly see I was trying my best in a difficult situation, but didn't give any solutions or move me to a more spacious seat. I won't be returning, they made me feel absolutely awful!!! Just wanted to leave and cry. I paid almost £20 for breakfast and a coke and I couldn't even eat it. Not a nice atmosphere at all, I would feel terrible going back as they made me feel so small! I hope they read this and understand they caused me so much upset and hopefully they treat other new mums with a bit more compassion and...

After seeing reviews and the venue always looking busy we decided to give it a try. The drinks were great but unfortunately were disappointed with our meals. The breakfast wrap was not to my liking, the bacon and sausage was really under done and the halloumi and honey meal had way too much honey on! Food presentation was good though. We would of complained at the table but we didn't receive a standard 3 minute food check and had already discussed that we were going to leave by that point. We ate less than half of our meals and informed the cashier on leaving. No apology was received regarding the quality of food...

Purchased two breakfasts and a coffee. Service was friendly and welcoming. After we left there were some brownies selling cup cakes so we bought one each and then another coffee from here. We sat outside for 2 minutes only to be told that it was not in keeping with their ethos to allow people to use their seats unless all things consumed were purchased at their establishment. We were made to feel very unwelcome and what we thought was a nice thing in buying some cakes from children for charity was very much soured. We won’t be...

Second visit and again was not disappointed. Good chunk of grilled Haxby bakehouse sourdough. Smashed avocado and pea. Crumbled feta and 2 poached eggs with pickled radishes surrounded by balsamic glaze Another delicious plate of food. Had a fabulous flat white coffee too. The staff were polite, efficient and patient whilst I waited for my son who had the egg’s Benedict on sourdough not muffins. He’s not been able to stop thinking about it since Sunday. Highly recommend and will always make a bee line for Whisk when I’m in Pocklington

I took myself for a brunch date with a good book, late on Saturday morning. It was busy but I didn't have to wait for a table and the staff were quick to acknowledge and seat me. I had the eggs royale and a smoothie, couldn't have been more satisfied with what I got. 2 doorstep bloomer wedges with smashed avocado, smoked salmon, poached eggs and plenty of hollandaise sauce. It was scrumptious!

Pricey but nicey.....some might consider a small whisk instead of the traditional teaspoon rather pretentious but could be useful for frothing milk. Tried the sausage bun, which was much more than an ordinary sandwich. Imaginative menu, but the prices and trendy atmosphere would put me off going frequently. Very busy.
