Zalos Cafe Latchford — Restaurant in England

I cycled here with a friend who recommend the cafe. It's a little awkward for cyclists as there is no secure parking for your bicycle. We had to lean ours against a pillar on the pavement. I wouldn't have done this had we not managed to get a table outside. My coffee and scone with butter and jam came to £6.95. I don't know if this is comparable with other cafes in Latchford. The only thing I can say is price wise it falls in between the expensive cafes and the cheaper cafes I visit on my cycle rides. The coffee I had was very good as was the scone with butter and jam. The staff were very polite and friendly. Once we had finished I went inside to pay. I was surprised how big the cafe was. It looked very clean and tidy. Outside seating is available at the front of the cafe next to the pavement. There were five, two person tables. My friend enjoyed her beans and toast. Well certainly going to give this a miss next time waited almost 25 mins for food after waiting 15 minutes to place our order then watched staff walk around the room with your food then finally they realise it’s my food they bring it to me COLD! My partner got half of his then bit by bit his full breakfast arrived but it was COLD!! Ate some I left a bit because I just couldn’t face anymore I heard a few people complaining the had waited for food staff stood around one lady (glasses on) doing most of the running around the reason was because the kitchen has been battered all at once Friday Saturday and now today not an excuse at all we left not very happy at all!!!! Me and my partner ordered the peppers, tomato and houmous baguettes. I also ordered a sausage, bacon and mozzarella on toast. The food was excellent with lots of flavour and great value for money. I did have a hiccup as the first sausage/bacon on toast that came, instead of mozzarella, it had an egg on it which I don't eat lol... Usually if you phone up (as we ordered through ubereats) food places will jib you off to ubereats or justeat for a refund. This lovely lady turned up 10 minutes later with the correct sandwich that I ordered and some complementary cakes for the inconvenience 🙂 She also complemented my cat, Luca 😺
