IG9 Brunch & Cafe — Restaurant in Epping Forest

This may sound a bit bias because I have now gotten to know the staff more over the past year, but the very first day I entered through the doors of IG9 cafe, is the same as the most recent day that I entered IG9 cafe, the people are very welcoming, both staff and patrons which is a definite boost to the atmosphere that emerges throughout, the service is done by 2-3 members of staff depending on how busy it is, the seating is ample 7 inside and 3 outside but if you don't mind sharing then you can have upto 12 seats inside, the food is not exotic, in fact it is very cafe apropos, hot sandwiches, sausages, eggs, jacket potatoes, etc. However it is prepared to specifications, they are more than happy to comply with modifications to the dish as long as they have it in stock, the cafe is very family friendly, especially being so close to a school and several nurseries, so it is frequented by those attending and the addition of kids books and toys for kids upto the age of 11, is a great bonus for parents/carers who need a distraction for a moment or two, it is also very close to buckhurst hill station, a perfect distance to grab a coffee or a snack on the go before the commute, the only thing that I would recommend to add to it's already popular menu and for it's l patrons, is the addition of on the go...

We often stop by this lovely café while doing our laundry next door, and it has quickly become one of our favourite spots in Buckhurst Hill. The brunch options, especially the Sultan and the Queens, are consistently delicious, full of flavour and clearly homemade with care.

The space is clean, tranquil, and comfortably furnished, with seats and tables that make it easy to relax and enjoy your meal. The staff are always kind, professional, and welcoming, which makes every visit a pleasure.

It's been awhile since I left the above review and have visited a couple of times since. I'm not sure if it's under new management but the gentleman who used to run it I've not seen on 3 or 4 recent visits.

The food has really gone down hill the price I think has increased. The salad and panniers from my last and final order where shocking.
