Millroys — Restaurant in Epsom and Ewell

My mate Gary and I were cruising around Ewell, smoking a fat one, and looking for the perfect sandwich. Gary then remembered that he'd heard rumours about this 'absolutely spot on' shepards pie, at a magical place called millroys cafe. So quick as a flash, I Google it, and rocked up there excited at the prospect of having an 'absolutely spot on' shepards pie. We walked through the door, slightly hesitant, as we didn't know what to expect. Any nerves we had quickly faded as we were greeted with a smile that I can only describe as warm and welcoming. "What can I get for you two fine young men" the gentleman behind the counter asked. "Two Shepherds pies please" I said, with a gleeful grin on my face. "Coming right up" he said, then added "Can I interest you in some of our finest spaghetti bolognese sir" "Just the pies please mush" Gary replied. So we sat down, and within 15 minutes, we had two of the most amazing shepards pies you could ever imagine. Had a nice breakfast here the other day, as we were working close by, but can’t help thinking there’s a missed opportunity here for the owner. This is a nice visible corner plot. Clean the blind. Put some nice flowers in the drab herb planters. Pull the weeds in the surrounding path/seating area. Put umbrellas in the outdoor tables. If the big planters belong to you, replant the them. AVOID! - I visited this cafe to face 2 really rude girls behind the till. The toilet was 'out of order' and when I asked to wash my hands I was told it was staff only. I had a long brown hair in my food and both girls working behind the counter had long brown hair, not tied and no hair nets. Food was below average and prices were not worth it. The was was empty, probably a giveaway to not go there... would not...
