Got a last minute invite on a Tuesday to come out for some grub and a catch up with some of the boys. Why not? I hadn’t eaten and thought it’ll be good to catch up with some faces I’ve not seen for a little while. Took the half hour walk to work up an appetite and knowing this was a Tuesday. I was expecting the restaurant to be on the quiet side. Far from it! It was a couple of tables short of being fully booked. And if you’re not familiar with this eatery, it’s a decent size with “outside” eating on the decking. This was a good sign of things to come. A busy restaurant early week is a strong sign of good quality. We hadn’t booked but luckily one of the spare tables was big enough for our party of five. Good comfortable setting, clean and had an almost tropical theme, exotic for sure. Not necessarily what you might expect for a Turkish restaurant? Either way, it’s nice and actually refreshing. Staff were welcoming and I didn’t have to wait long for an ice cold Efes to be served along with an ice cold glass! There’s a great selection to choose from which caters for all tastes including a good selection of vegan options. There’s specials and deals for two, good selection of hot and cold starters; charcoal, seafood and salads for mains. Even pasta and side dishes. One of us being vegetarian went for Vegetable Kebab, the others having the amazing looking (and smelling) Mix Grill; which consists of marinated lamb cutlets, lamb shish, chicken thighs, chicken wings and Adana kebab. I myself had my usual got to Turkish dish, the Lamb Iskender: Adana Kebab served on traditional toasted bread with a special tomato sauce, topped with yoghurt and melted butter. I had to have a side of Humus Kavurma! I love my humus, but this is topped with sautéed lamb, pine nuts and chillies, served with fresh baked bread. Food was amazing. Meat was succulent, tender and certainly no complaints from the meat lovers with their mix grills. Decent portions and wasn’t overwhelmingly stuffing. There was enough humus for everyone (bar my veggie friend) to try some. And whilst we weren’t hungry, it was rude not to have dessert right? Having a generous portion of Chocolate Fudge Cake served with Vanilla Cream. Strongly recommend this place for most occasions, especially small gatherings and parties. Actually, it was popular for birthday meals as I think we sang “Happy Birthday” at least three times that night. If you’re a fan of Turkish cuisine, get a few of you together and try it out - but be warned - I suggest booking, either if a week night.

Well what can I say, this restaurant is just simply divine, the decor, the atmosphere, the service, the staff & of course the food ! It is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to & and is definitely worth a visit and would highly recommend to all. We will definitely return again in the future. Being a thursday evening this restaurant was busy ! A very good sign almost every table full by the time we left. Very good for a weekday. The menu has a lovely selection from kebabs to seafood as well as vegan options. The bread & dips are a nice touch & vibrant in colour, King prawns to start with a sweet chilli dip was tasty, having a lamb shish for my main the meat was succulent, flavoursome & chunky pieces of lamb, the main overall was a very good portion size & I enjoyed this with rice as well as a delicious fresh side salad. Dessert was also a lovely end to the evening. The staff are welcoming and friendly, and nothing is too much, always checking in on customers. We sat outside at the front of the restaurant on a god sized terrace its been a hot day but when we had all of 2 minutes of spitting of rain the staff were quick to roll out the lighted roof which made it pretty & yet cosy. Thank you for a wonderful dinner Mimoza ❤️

Fantastic food, good wine, great atmosphere and excellent service - what more could you ask for. Tony and some of the team were previously at Koza Kitchen in Epsom and that was one of our favourite restaurants, so I was delighted when he decided to open up in Ewell as it's walking distance :-) We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and went for the Seaford sharer - see pictures. The panko mussels were lovely and the sword fish was melt in the mouth tender. We can't wait to go back. Top tip - there are some free parking spaces behind the restaurant. Here again! So a couple more pictures. Fantastic food as always. Thank you Tony and the Team.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mimoza Bar and Kitchen in Ewell Village, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. I opted for the mixed grill, and it was, without a doubt, the best meat I've had in Surrey.

From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for a fantastic evening. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure every detail was perfect.

Now, onto the star of the show – the mixed grill. Each piece of meat was cooked to perfection, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The variety and quality of the meats were impressive, and it was evident that great care had been taken in their preparation. The accompanying sides complemented the main dish beautifully, adding an extra layer of satisfaction to the meal.

The drink selection was excellent, offering a range of options to suit every palate. Whether you're a fan of cocktails, wines, or something non-alcoholic, there's something for everyone.

Mimoza Bar and Kitchen has truly set the bar high with their exceptional food and wonderful service. If you're in Surrey and looking for a memorable dining experience, I highly recommend paying them a visit. You won't be...
