On The Grill — Restaurant in Epsom and Ewell

Just returned home after taking the family for Cypriot kebabs at Greek On The Grill in Epsom. It's great to now have the option locally to have an authentic Cypriot kebab, the type that you can actually hold in your hand without it all falling apart like those you get from standard kebab shops. We had pork souvlaki, chicken souvlaki, pork cutlets , and chips with sprinkled oregano. It was all great. Got chatting with the owners while we were there and they are really friendly and lovely. They do takeaway but they have a few tables too, so we chose to sit-in and enjoy the food there. This will now be top of the options list for our weekly family takeaway. Thank you Greek on The Grill. Bad start, they'd run out of Souvla, but being a fresh, slow cooked product apparently in great demand, that must be a recommendation in itself? Ordered Souvlaki (chicken, pork and lamb) instead. The whole experience, ordering to collection was a pleasure. Lovely people who care about their product! The smell from the food in my car was wonderful. Once home we discovered everything very well wrapped, so all still hot and fresh. Meat was excellent quality, everything very tasty indeed. I’m so glad I’ve found this place, well worth the 30 minute drive from Walton on Thames.

A great, friendly place with outstanding kebabs.

I’m a massive foodie, it’s not easy to find good, Cypriot kebabs nowadays, unless you travel to North London or Cyprus!

The souvlaki and sheftalia’s were exactly how they should be, bbq’d to perfection, juicy and tender, the salad was nice and fresh and the Cypriot pitta isn’t your average pitta. You can tell they use ingredients of a high quality!
