We had the lamb schwarma and a good mix of starters, all well-prepared and nicely spiced. The portions were generous, and the prices felt reasonable for what you get. Service was friendly and reasonably efficient. The place is unusual, with a barbershop at the front—complete with half cars used as chairs—and a restaurant tucked behind it. The decor majors in plastic flowers and quirky touches, but it somehow works. It’s not flashy, but it has charm. This is a bit of a hidden gem if you’re into Middle Eastern food. The food was absolutely sublime- so fresh, bursting with flavours and generous portions. The fasolia was delectable as was the lamb burger and the chicken strips wrap. The orange cake was so delicious, i ordered another slice. Service was exceptional with attentive and friendly staff. They offered my toddler a drink and ice cream which he was very happy with. They also offered us tea on the house which reflected their wonderful hospitality and generosity and was also so delicious. Atmosphere was so relaxed and the decor was beautiful. Toilets were clean. I used to have great experiences with this restaurant, but unfortunately, my last two orders have been really disappointing. This time, I ordered a panini and mezze, and the quality was shockingly bad. The panini bread was doughy, and the few chicken pieces inside were so dry that it felt overcooked or left out for too long. The kibbeh was a huge letdown—old, possibly reheated, and nothing like the crispy, fresh texture it’s supposed to have.

For a £30+ order, I expected much better. Given how good this place used to be, I’m really disappointed with how things have changed 🥲
