An absolutely amazing place, one to visit from near or far. My first time in Fareham and looking for a cafe to enjoy a warm drink my friend and I spotted Edwards. With a well presented and eye-catching exterior we looked closer to find that not only did this store front offer hot drinks and food, but also housed a hairdressers, this had to be seen to be believed. Stepping in we were greeted with an intelligently decorated interior, replete with hanging plants and colourful, comfortable furniture. To the rear of the store is the hairdressers, which looked popular and equally well presented. We made our way to the cafe counter and were warmly greeted by a member of staff who allowed us to peruse the menu and boards at our own pace, we then sat at a lovely little table by the window in two wonderfully comfortable lounge chairs. After an opportunity to look over the menu at our table the host came and took our order, also being happy to answer our questions about the stores unique dual purpose. The food was freshly prepared and presented to us upon gorgeous tableware. I had the soup of the day, one of two available, and was delighted with its flavour and quality. What had started as intrigue turned to a delightful visit, which I would recommend to all when in Fareham. Whether living locally or passing through Edwards Coffee lounge is a must try.

I had 2 weeks based in Fareham while cat-sitting. After trying 4 local spots for brunch, I was in despair of finding a place which served tasty, enjoyable food - until I found Edwards. I walked in and was immediately taken by a) the wonderful warm welcome I received b) how appealing the food on display looked and c) how many interesting options there were on the menu. The next day, I started my tasting. Day 1: quiche and salad 5/5 Day 2: sausage roll - I don't like pork so pretty much NEVER order this but this one looked sooooo good I had to risk it. Can I give it 6/5? It deserves it. Day 3: Avocado stack with crispy bacon. It didn't look a big meal but it was packed full of flavour 5/5 Day 4: Edwards Small Breakfast - warning - I have a huge appetite and I'm glad I went 'small' 4.5/5 Regrets: I wish I'd had time to try more of the quiche as there are different types during the week, I'd have loved a 2nd go at the sausage roll and also wanted to try the wild mushrooms on toast, Next time I'm back in Fareham, for sure! In summary: everything tastes like it has been made of good quality produce. The service is wonderful. An oasis in a desert of dire food options.

This is my favourite place in Fareham to meet friends. It could be coffee and fabulous cake, tea and huge tasty cheese scone, feel good salad, an inspirational open sandwich or a cheeky glass of wine with a cheese platter, the food will be very special. It’s also a place where i would be happy to go on my own as i know i will be made to feel welcome and the atmosphere is laid back. Give it a try you wont be disappointed!

I was taken here today, Saturday, 4th October 2025 by a lovely friend of mine. This was the first time I’ve ever been here and the English breakfast I had, was cooked from fresh, absolutely delicious. My friend had the avocado with halloumi and eggs and they did not skim on the halloumi at all, any other place would have used it to serve two or three people. The sausages and bacon are locally sourced from the butchers in Titchfield . Staff were absolutely lovely, really helpful, really pleasant, attentive but not intrusive. They also sell lovely home-made cakes and I have a Victoria sponge that I have bought Home for later. My friend had a coffee and walnut for later. The setting and atmosphere is brilliant, free parking at the rear. I will definitely be going back there again and probably introduce a few of my friends to it as well 10 out of...
