this is a complaint i sent to kfc.co.uk on the 18th of dec 2014. and i have stil not heard back from them. i am a huge fan of KFC foods. i love it. i have eaten in alot of KFCs around ireland. i know your menu well and your prices. untill yesterday. i was STARVING for dinner yesterday and myself and my partner decided we would eat at the Sligo KFC. we were tired after being out doing the christmas shopping. also bear in mind i am a manager of a high end retail store in Sligo. i approach the counter to be served by a guy who claims he is the manager. this would have at around 3 pm yesterday. i ask him for a big daddy meal, sweet corn, and coke, that was for my partner, and for myself i ask for a LARGE 2 piece meal with 2 x mini variety box and a mini wrap. he immediately cut me off saying sorry we dont sell mini variety boxes or mini wraps. i was in shock to hear that as i always have been getting this order for nearly 4/5 years now. i pointed out that you have the menu there advertising mini variety box and mini wrap. he said that this advertising is a misprint. i reiterated by saying if it’s a misprint, why is it still up there? I also pointed out as he is the manager of the store, why is the menu which is a misprint still up there and shown on display to the consumer. He quickly and abruptly stated the price of my meal with out the mini box and wrap. I said no I will leave it thanks, then as I was turning away, he retracted his earlier statement and said ok sir, I have them for you. It will be 2 euro each for mini variety and not 99 cent as advertise! It was then when I was disgusted to learn this “manager” was of a dodgy and off putting character. I am very annoyed about this experience as the whole of the seating area with some customers were listening in to the argument. I left in shame and disgust. i don’t believe he is the manager. His name tag did not state other wise. He was a foreign man. Black hair. Med build. Very cocky for his role as customer service.
I would like to know why I was treated this way, I don’t want this man to be at the forefront of the shop. Especially if he is the manager. A manager does not say one thing and then retract. This has been a very poor...
Read moreWe went in to get a meal for 4-5 people while waiting for our bus back to Belfast. The girl who served us was really nice and polite, took our order, and then paid for it. Whilst we were waiting for the food order, I asked the girl, "Could we please have more tomato ketchup? It wasn't a problem for her. When she was getting more ketchup and salt, another girl said no, they've had some put into the bag. I said that my son loves ketchup, and I was willing to pay for a few extra satchels. Her attitude was totally unacceptable, she said to the one who was serving us. No, you've given her two satchels already. The girl was clearly taken back when her coworker said this, she was really nervous. I was standing listening to everything, and she didn't know what to do or say. I thanked her, and then I turned round to the other girl working and asked her the same question regarding ketchup and salt. Her attitude was horrendous, and she was so rude and started mumbling underneath her breath. I immediately asked her what the problem was , and she clearly said that there's 2 satchels of ketchup in the bag. Whilst I agreed with her, I said that I wanted more and was willing to pay the extra money if needed. She wasn't one bit happy, which was pretty uncomfortable, especially when there's people in the queue. I explained that I was going to pay for the extras if needed, and she got really nasty saying stuff in a different language, so I wouldn't understand, though, was looking directly at me. The girl who initially served us then put extra salt and ketchup in the bag, and I thanked her. This girl was clearly very uncomfortable doing this due to what was being said. I continued to thank her again, and she was very nice throughout my time there. What I'm going to say is that the supervisor/manager needs a thorough course in dealing with the public as her attitude was totally...
Read moreWent in to KFC today ( 13th December 2024, around 9:30) and we ordered food around the same time from kiosk machine in which we had options for both eat in and take away. We ordered for eat in. And we waited for almost half an hour for food and finally we went in to get the food they not made our krushem so again we had to wait more time (around 10 minutes) and finally when we sat to eat the food an employee named 'MAYA' came in and was shouting at us as sit in was closed and "she had no one to clean the place". There were many more people around us but she came at us shouted and asked us to get refund and go out... it was very embarrassing because everyone was looking at us and only we were foreigners there and it was such a racist behaviour. And when we confronted her about the same she was not even sorry that she behaved in such a manner and again she was verbally fighting with us instead of at least being calm. She was blaming her coworker for not informing us that sit in closed when we were telling her about how loudly she was talking to us.. She is a very rude racist person (not fit for customer service). And finally when we reached home we found they haven't even given us the fries that we ordered for. 😡😡😡😡😡😡 Worst...
