Terrible service. 20 people arrive for a pre booked party. No one bothered to find out what we wanted to drink had to go to the bar. Waited 1 hour the had to ask someone to get our table some popadoms. Watched as our popadoms were placed on a counter waiting for it to be served. Had to ask for them, then only one dips dish placed on the table for 20 people. Had to ask again for more, excuses given for why not. 1 hr 20 mins before anything came to our table and the manager at the end of the night refused to accept that that was unreasonable. Arrogant unapologetic. "30 years in the business and your trying to tell me my job" terrible terrible service. There is no doubting the quality of the food once it arrived but arriving for a 7pm booking and actually getting food served at 9.10 is just not goood enough. Avoid if your a big party. This was always my first choice place to eat out but went there last night and I was so disappointed. Firstly it was empty, we were the only eat in customers. Secondly we were told they no longer sell alcohol because the owner doesn't believe in it and then the food was not to the very high standard it always was before. The staff had nothing to do so they were standing around watching us eat which made us feel like we were intruding on their time and everything was cleared the minute we finished a course. This was at 7.30pm so it's not like they were waiting to close. When we asked why it was so quiet a staff member said it wasn't because of covid but because you couldn't have a drink with your meal. I think they are going to find it hard to stay in business...

We are absolutely livid. This restaurant has lost loyal customers of 10+ years due to sheer rudeness of which has now happened multiple times. We ordered a meal a week ago and had to phone because a voucher they were advertising was not working. The guy on the phone was very rude but we left it be because we thought he might be having a bad day. We tried ordering again tonight, again having to talk on the phone because the delivery slots were not showing up on the website. Instead of understanding, apologizing and trying to sort the problem, we got nothing but rudeness and being made to feel like an inconvenience. It doesn't matter how good the food is, if that's how you're made to feel. The customer service is absolutely disgraceful and it ruins the rest...
