Stairwayz Cafe — Restaurant in Gateshead

You have to be part mountain goat to get up those stairs and at the top the banister is tight to the wall you carnt get your hand around it its very dangerous I ordered the big breakfast the sausage's were the same color as the skimpy little bit of black pudding they were very black in color' I couldn't eat them the beans arrived in a ramican which had been heated in a microwave oven as a result was the ramican absorbed all the heat and the beans were cold in all not a very nice experience never agai n then I was dreading taking on those stairs again not old...

Went on 3rd June for breakfast and it was amazing ..cleanest breakfast I've ever had no greese in sight and absolutely loads of food and totally delicious, lovely lovely service he is like superman !! Went back today 4th June for an un booked afternoon tea ..and although he had not prepped more afternoon teas he booked us in for a couple of hours time and it was amazing ..we still have so many leftovers and the service again was fantastic and you should try the sweet shop below...

Shocking service and awful food. Waited 25 minutes for a tuna sandwich and was served a large bun with a millimetres scraping of tuna mayonnaise. Returned food for more filling - am positive the filling was scraped off to mix with pure mayonnaise and readded. If id wanted a sandwich with no filling I'd have...
