Really nice local feel, public house. Always a good pint, just check out the picture of my pint. Has a regular switch up of real ale's if that's your tipple. Bar is a little small for those who like to prop it up. But other than that great. Nice function room, occasional live entertainment. Friendly staff 👊🏻 large seating area outside in the summer that gets the sun until it sets on the adjacent farm hills. Moving on to the colder season it has 2 open fires that just make you not wanting to leave

Stopped in for Sunday dinner. I understand it has new owners (a few weeks in) hence no menus. Strange set up trying to order drinks and dinners "can you order your food at the other end of the bar" then order the drinks back at the opposite end, then you cannot pay for both together.

I don't know if it was because we was eating at 2 o'clock (could it have been cooked by 12?) but the dinner was terrible!. I chewed my way thro one of the Yorkshire puddings (one was more then enough) the lamb was also like chewing gum (which I'm amazed at being such a fatty meat its nigh on impossible to achieve) & veg was boiled within an inche of its life.

Mash and the gravy was nice. Did not stay for pudding God only knows...

Wouldn't recommend and won't...

We did not eat there, so I cannot judge on it BUT since I got married to a local Redhill girl more than 30 years ago, and we now live in Germany, visiting the local in-laws regularly, all I can say is that the Pub has become a shining Star again. Thanks to the current owners. They have safed this great Pub from oblivion. We went there shortly before they arrived and there was a lot of talk of closing the Pub down and things were really depressing. Now, it is a great Pub again and I am looking forward to Christmas when we are back in Redhill and will pay some visit to The Waggon & Horses again. Thank you for keeping this great place alive. Greetings from...

Very disappointed with the feedback I've had from family members who came to my daughters party having rented their function room out and sent plenty of customers their way to the bar. The pub was empty but my family and friends faced disgusting attitude when requesting to purchase drinks. If it wasn't for my daughter's birthday I don't know what would have happened that day.

The request was for hot water/hot drinks, having spent money booking the room I think hot water isn't a big ask but nevertheless it was guests who asked so I'm unsure as to why it was taken...
