I had the pleasure of dining at Angel African kitchen today. The environment was excellent, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor was vibrant and authentic, transporting me straight to the heart of Africa.

The prices were bit reasonable, especially considering the quality and portion sizes of the meals. If the economy allows, they can do better with the portion sizes

I have visited on 04 separate occasions. First visit, I tried Suya, ogbono soup and jollof rice as takeaway and the food was extremely delicious. Second visit, I took my friend to celebrate her graduation and her daughter birthday. We ate in the restaurant and ordered Egusi, Grilled fish platter , Edikaikong as an alternative for Afang soup, jollof rice and Suya. My friends thoroughly enjoyed their meal and food was well presented. I loved the Edikaikong very much. My third visit was to introduce my Caucasian friend to the meal and he ordered half chicken platter and he completely devoured the meal and wanted to visit the next day for his birthday. I had the pleasure of dining at Angel African Kitchen in Gloucester, and I can honestly say the food and service were both outstanding. I ordered the jollof rice with chicken and beef, and every bite was full of rich, authentic flavour. The meat was tender and well-seasoned, and the rice had just the right balance of spice and depth.
