Antep Turkish Kitchen — Restaurant in Gosport

As we arrived 6.00pm the table for us was a mess. Menus overspilling and an excess of plates. We had to help the waitress to clear the table. The waitress was giggling that the table was a mess and that she kept forgetting everything. We had paid a £25 charge to hold the table BTW. We ordered drinks, which took too long to arrive, when it finally did, we ordered our food starters and main. The starters arrived and we ate them they were very nice or perhaps we had waited do long! We had to ask for more glasses, and the kids drinks and the staff kept forgetting! An hour and a half later the mains had still not arrived. The girls were standing around doing nothing as far as we could see. No drinks offered, no attention to detail, no care at all, extremely poor customer service. don't be drawn in by their website like we were.

No clean cutlery or Napkins brought to the table. When my wife asked how long the food would be as we have 3 children with us, their response was "which table are you sitting at". Poor poor poor, no observation.

The decor had blu tac marks on the walls, no what is advertised.

The owner is very ignorant, no sorry and no offering for our children. She was very defensive, she said they usually give people time between courses. an hour and a half..... Between courses, We said its been 1 and a half hours. She said people come to enjoy their food...... I said with what cutlery. She wasn't impressed 😂

She was more than happy to take our money, but very ignorant and in no way interested in finding a resolution.

Her last words were if you don't want to listen........ And...

I am absolutely furious with ANTEP Restaurant and their appalling service. I ordered through Just Eat, which initially had the wrong address. I then called ANTEP, who assured me they would resolve the issue and inform Just Eat of the correct address. However, this was not the case at all! Just Eat refused to deliver to the new address, and without consulting us, ANTEP allowed Just Eat to take the food. To make matters worse, Just Eat delivered the food to some random address!

When I phoned ANTEP again to explain, they said they would sort out the problem with Just Eat and still make the food. This was an £82 order for a 60th birthday celebration! Just two minutes later, ANTEP called back and said we had to pay another £82 after previously stating they would handle the issue with Just Eat. When I questioned why they let Just Eat take the order in the first place, the owner began to raise her voice at me over the phone.

I am absolutely disgusted with how ANTEP has behaved and handled this entire situation. Despite remaining calm on the phone, the owner continued to be aggressive. I will NEVER be ordering from them again. The service and communication are horrendous! Save yourself the headache and avoid this place...

Incredible! Discovered this absolute gem last night. Delicious food, excellently presented.

Appetisers served on the house - fresh traditional bread, yoghurt dip, harissa dip and olives. A nice touch.

Highly recommend the yogurtlu lamb shish as a main - tender, succulent lamb, creamy yoghurt on top, served with fresh rice and salad. I savoured every mouthful of the generous portioned meal. And oh my... the kunefe dessert!!! Have the kunefe every opportunity you can!! Excuse the missing spoonful in the image... I was so excited to dig in I ate first then remembered the photo! 😅

Order 1 or more kunefe to go too and experience it all over again...buy it as a gift for others and they will love you forever.... All washed down with thirst quenching Turkish apple tea served in an impressive glass.

Great atmosphere. Friendly and attentive staff. Easy parking outside. This is a must for every day and also special occasions... I'm back there for lunch today and have been raving about this place to...
