Been to the cafe about 6 times over the last couple of months food and service has always been consistently good however, today one of our meals were wrong my son has the same thing we don’t even look at the menu , but the cowboy came out instead of Batman and the waitress argued with me that I was wrong which I was ok with as replaced the meal but she flung the replacement on the table towards my son , and the glares , sarky comments and looks afterwards , we could hear what she was saying I was honest and told the other waitress and asked the young lady name so I could complain , she told the young girl in question and run off to chef to say something and the giggling and comments and the lack of costumer care or satisfaction was so disappointing , I normally would ignore but it made my family very uncomfortable and unfortunately ruined the...
Read moreOur second visit to this cafe and more disappointed than the first so won't be returning sorry to say. The place, atmosphere was fine and the staff were warm, welcoming and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. Pot of tea was ok too - not like some of the cafes where tea is like dishwater!! We had a full English breakfast and most items were swimming in grease, esp the eggs and mushrooms. The hash browns were overcooked and my tomato was burnt on the bottom and my bacon was cremated - it was like eating charcoal!! Not sure if there was an option to have a grilled breakfast - with hindsight I probably should have adsked. Plenty of more eateries to visit...

In response to owners request: The food was 'okay', above average, standard fare for a small seaside cafe. The staff were the best element of our visit, but to very honest it wasn't somewhere that would top of my list to visit again. It lacks atmosphere which is what I enjoy in a venue, that's just my opinion freely given and easily ignored if needed. I wish you well...
