Sie's Pie & Mash — Restaurant in Gravesham

Decided this morning that I would really like Pie Mash and liquor for lunch. Checked for delivery options and found Uber Eats delivers, I am not reviewing Uber but Sie's Pie & Mash. I have been eating traditional pie & mash for over 50 years, have eaten many times at Manze, G Kelly, Goddards and Harrington's at Tooting which has always been My favourite. I have to say the Pies from Sie's were right up there, better than most of the others I have tried. The mash was proper mash, not pureed rubbish served in some restaurants. It was really apparent that good quality potatoes were used and mashed traditionally. The Liquor was also as good as it gets. For some of the people who have mentioned in their reviews regarding the seasoning of the pies they should be aware that splitting the pies open and a liberal sprinkle of White pepper followed by Chilli Spiced vinegar makes the pies taste as they should. Highly recommended, will definitely be using again soon....

I've just had the best jacket potato with chilli in a long time! I wasn't expecting it to be so great, being that Sie's obviously specialize in pie & mash.

Today I just fancied a jacket potato, so went in on the off chance and asked for a takeaway. A jacket potato with chilli is a pretty standard lunch, and I was a little surprised I was asked if I'd like salad with it too. Not only was the salad really nice, fresh, tasty and presented well, nestled next to the fluffy jacket, they went further by putting the chilli in a separate container so it didn't interfere with the salad en-route back to my office. The generous portion of chilli was superb. Tons of flavour and just the right amount of kick, using fresh red chillis.

I love pie & mash, and it is equally as good here, but Sie's obviously put just as much effort into their other menu items too. All the staff are very helpful and as other reviewers have said, there's a lovely...

A few years ago I used to go to this place once a week as my Dad loved to eat his lunch here. Not been here for a long time as I don’t live in the area but today I ate my lunch here. I’ve eaten in many cafes and restaurants and I can safely say that the tastiest Chips you’ll ever taste are served here. I ordered Ham Egg and Chips and it’s was so tasty I was tempted to order it again… No joke I’m still thinking about the chips now.
