Its been a while but i popped into Cosgriff and Sons to pick up some bread and a sandwich. I saw an Ox Tongue sandwich on the menu. Now, ive never been a fan of ox tongue as ive always found it quite tough and chewy and frankly quite bland but ive never had a bad sandwich from here so...on we go! Wow, im 44 years of age and in one bite every single preconception i had about tongue went out of the window! Soft yet firm, it melted in my mouth. Beautiful delicate flavour and wonderfully balanced with swiss cheese, crunchy pickles and russian dressing. A total winner. If that wasnt enough i then tried Paul's bacon, coffee and butter cream roll...a mind twist for sure but totally works on every level. Cosgriff and sons appetite for offering exciting and bold flavour combinations is a breath of fresh air. They could easily stick to crowd pleasers and favourites but no...keep it up, i cant wait to see what is on the menu...

We tried a buttery croissant, their wonky raspberry-filled donut, and an espresso. The croissant was impressively large and packed with flavor, while the donut was soft, fluffy, and generously stuffed with a fresh, absolutely delicious raspberry filling. As a family-run business, the warmth and love they share shines through in their genuinely friendly customer service. It's clear that this bakery takes pride in their craft and loves sharing their wonderful creations with their customers. And let's not forget the excellent coffee! I highly recommend stopping by if...

There wasn’t any other hint of blueberry or lemon (as far as I could tell) so it was quite dry, which is a shame. Maybe I just...
