Desi Sweet Centre — Restaurant in Great Britain

Hi I called ahead and placed an order for 20 samosas and 20 spring roles. When I went to collect the order. The female member of staff said I ordered 30 of each. I disagreed and she got a male member of staff. Who then said he has a recording of my call and that I had asked for 30 not 20 of each. I didn't want to argue and told them they are mistaken but will take the order anyway. The food here is great but the customer service is terrible as found the staff rude and dismissive towards me. So because of how they treat and speak to their customers I won't be returning.

Update I have just seen the food hygiene rating for this place from November 2019 and it got a 0 (zero) rating. I definitely won't be...

The food is great, I’ve literally tried everything on their menu, 10/10. Especially the pizza, the best vegetarian pizza in Derby - without a doubt. Hands down, the best somosas on Normanton high street. But that being said, there’s a lot of things wrong with this place. The hygiene rating is bad, like really bad. Secondly they always seem so overwhelmed, no matter what time of day, or how little or how much you order. They really need more staff. And then there is the location, so much traffic, no parking. But the one thing that annoys me the most, is that the owners wife never smiles. The day she cracks a smile, I will change this...

Please avoid this place!!!!!!!. I bought some food from here and it was terrible. The samosas were clearly fried in old/ burnt oil. The dishes I bought where so oily that they were swirling around freely in the pot when I tried to reheat. It made me feel sick so everything went in the bin. What a waste off 20 min drive and waste of money. Worest yet the guy serving can’t even crack a smile or thank you for you custom.
