Mainly A REVIEW OF THE FRIED CHICKEN DFC. It is probably the busiest fried chicken shop in Highfields.
That said, the USA missed a trick by invading Iraq for Oil, they should've attacked DFC. The amount of grease and oil on their wings is disgusting. You could cook a curry with it. The batter does not stick, it peels off like someone whose stayed in the sun too long. The wings are juicy .......because grease oozes out like someone whose momma put too much oil in the hair. (Oil is great in moderation). The amount of grease is 100x worse when it's busy, and they make no effort to drain the oil. If you wait few mins, the grease will cool down and harden, and at that point I bet Shahrukh Khan could use it to keep his hair in place. The NHS could probably single handedly prevent a whole host of medical issues in the Green Lane Road population by asking DFC to reduce their grease.
I'm pretty sure they won't care about the feedback because they're always busy. They're cheap and cheerful. My aim is not insult, just putting a prayer out there in the form of this constructive feedback. Their grill chicken is decent and good value but a few times deep inside has been undercooked.
Service is fast...
Read moreI recently visited DFC Chicken Grill in Leicester, and Carmo’s Chicken was an absolute treat! The flavor took me straight back to my childhood, reminiscent of the chicken I savored at Carmo’s Restaurant in Daman. To be honest, the chicken here is even tastier than what I remember from Daman. The homemade spice marinade is perfectly balanced, and the chicken is gently cooked over a flame, delivering a tender, flavorful experience that’s truly exceptional. The staff were incredibly polite and helpful, adding to the overall enjoyment. The service was remarkably fast, ensuring we didn’t wait long to enjoy our meal. The prices are very reasonable— we added extra fries for just 70p, which was a great deal for the quality and portion. We traveled from London to Leicester for this feast, and it was well worth the trip. Carmo’s Chicken at DFC Chicken Grill is a must-visit, and I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend for anyone craving a nostalgic, delicious...
Read moreHello all of these hateful comments targeting DFC does not make any sense. Firstly the picture which has been circulating all around social media saying this guy work at DFC, is not even him and people trying to make It look like him and bring individual and the business name down.
Me and this individual we are family friend since school days and he is an Indian as well , just like you and me and In reality he was with me on the day of the event. So I am a witness he was not there at the event.
Secondly I personally know the owner is not racist and look after everyone in the community.
All the hateful comments are just trying to bring the business name down but in reality they treat all there customers fairly and respectfully. So i suggest people stop making up false information about the business and the people in...
