G's Gourmet Burgers — Restaurant in Great Britain

As a traveller I have had to traverse through little old Luton on many an occasion. Venturing into the town centre, Wellington street to be exact, I walked into G's Gourmet Burgers. The smell of freshly cooked food will lead you to this delightful restaurant where every thing is cooked fresh for you while you wait (no processed food here). The menu is simple with an excellent choice of building your own burger (Lamb, beef or chicken) followed by the choice of salad items you wish to include topped off by the choice of condiment (Sauce). The lunchtime special includes chips and a drink in the price of the Burger. The burger arrived cooked exactly to my specification (Medium to well done) and the chips are a delight as they made from real potatoes and not from frozen packets as with most fast food places. Without doubt I can say this is the best Gourmet burger I have ever tasted. It was succulent and evenly cooked through out. The staff are polite and the whole place has a nice family atmosphere to it. The restaurant is clean with a nice ambience and well presented. Besides the burgers, i could see from the menu, G's do an excellent selection on steaks and other mean and non meat offerings. Add to all that a host of drinks and delightful milk shakes which makes this a perfect lunch time or evening dinner...

Hey I am really disappointed worth you guys. A while back I ordered a veggie burger that on your website said suitable for vegans. Despite you guys calling me and I calling you again to explain, confirm and make clear that I do not eat anything from an animal; I.e egg, cheese, milk, meat etc you send me a bun with egg in it. I only found this out by calling after to receive it to confirm there is no egg and the burger is indeed vegan 🌱 I was told the bun had egg in it and I said that I could not eat it!!!! The response I got was ‘We did think about that...’ what the hell seriously? You cannot advertise a burger saying it’s vegan when it’s just the patty. That is just disrespectful, false advertising and plan just baddd! It’s like giving a Jewish person pork!! It is their beliefs that you are not respecting with and you took absolutely no consideration in mine.

I used to love coming in there when I ate meat, the food was good, however the vegetarian option is terrible and you guys really need to sort it out and have a wider range. Of options with people from all dietary requirements. It would be great to include dariy free milkshakes. Know what foods are for whom and get your facts straight. I no...

Placed an order via Deliveroo at 19:50. Called the restaurant at 21:00 to be told 7-8 minutes. Food finally arrived Luke warm at 21:30

11/3/19 Thank you for your reply which when read, seems slightly aggressive..... maybe it’s the choice of words used......I won’t take it as an offence. FYI I have used this platform to express my thoughts on your service, (as I am entitled to do so) because I called the restaurant to enquire about my delivery and was spoken to quite abruptly (again I won’t take offence. Maybe it was busy, even though unacceptable) to be told it was 5 minutes away, for it to then turn up 25 mins later.

In regards to not mentioning the taste or quality, I did mention that it arrived Luke warm so the taste would naturally be affected. In continuation to the quality and taste, the steak I had contained far too much gristle. I did not mention it before but as you feel I didn’t comment on T & Q, that is my opinion.

You also mentioned not using your site to bash Deliveroo..... they work for you, not me.
