I purchased a two piece, battered fish supper to go. I was pleasantly surprised to receive my fish supper in a small (but suitably long) box, perfect size for the really big fish pieces with plenty room for the generous amount of chips I was given. This makes eating said supper on the go or having a quick chip or two on the way home all the easier and is a nice touch (really why do we still just wrap chippys in paper, it's annoying to eat from lets be real!). Also, it's a small thing but I appreciated it; they included a bit of lemon to squeeze on the fish, and is the first time I have received that for a take away meal from a chippy. Fish was a generous size (much bigger than other local alternatives), well battered and cooked, and was very tasty. The chips were fine, although I would say these were less enjoyable than other local alternatives. If these are improved this chippy is likely to rise to the top of the pile in this part of Glasgow. The chips weren't very crispy, and one or two pieces I ate were undercooked, and they had a slight aftertaste that wasn't overbearing but I found them a bit unappealing and skipped eating most of them. They have a large menu with lots of items that are a bit less conventional for a chippy (hoagies, stir fry options, milkshakes etc) Overall I really enjoyed the fish, and the chips were ok with lots of room to improve. The fast and friendly service, serving box, lemon, and fish all impressed me, so will definitely return to try more items in the future. Ordered a takeway last week: Ordered 4 large portions of Fish and chips Peri peri loaded fries South indian garlic chilli chicken loaded fries Peri peri burger meal with chips.

First of all staff are very polite and friendly, greeted by the owner Maj himself very polite friendly and humble.

Fish and chips, massive pieces of fish cooked freshly and the chips were cooked to perfection, (Huge portions)

Peri peri burger meal, chicken fillet pieces, tender meat, decent level of spicing freshly cooked (personally would of preferred bit more spice) but a good burger and the chips were spot on.

Peri peri loaded fries, again meat was tender and soft decent amount of spice, with the combo with cheese and sauces and chillies it was really good.

But the star of show was the south indian garlic chilli loaded fries, the flavouring and tenderness of that chicken and sauce was spot on, spicy saucy it's got bit of zip to it, would definitely recommend 👍

Was upgraded to bottle of 2 litre drink from a regular drink and was also given complementary sauces and dips with the meals.

Overall the, portion sizes are generous and good value for money. Family really enjoyed thier meals.

South Indian chicken pizza 2pc batter fish supper Loaded chips donner Curry sauce

South Indian chicken pizza - this was the best thing on the menu, very tasty and based on looks alone it was a 10. Batter fish & chips - fish was brilliant, nice flaky fish, crispy batter, no bones and a big fish. Chips however had a strange fishy after taste, the curry sauce masked the taste. Not sure if the after taste is due to the fish sitting on the chips or fish and chips are cooked in the same oil Curry sauce - really didn’t like this, just tasted like a Chinese curry sauce as oppose to a chippy curry sauce Donner loaded chips - my friend ordered this, excellent flavour, donner nothing to rave about and chips with the similar fishy after taste

Overall - I’d definitely come back for the pizza but the chips and curry sauce...
