House of Kebabish | Leicester — Restaurant in Great Britain

We've always wanted to try this place so had the opportunity to do so on Saturday night. We booked table for 6, there was six of us, the staff were very accommodating and moved us to a larger table to make us more comfortable. staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. My husband ordered the mixed platter plus some extra bits and extra naan.

The chutney/salad that came out complementary was basic but fresh and nice enough. Our mixed came out first and we were all really surprised by the amount, it was generous and soo tasty.. the mains were, in my opinion, even nicer. We are a foodie family so we love our spices and flavours. The lamb and chicken curry was superb.. Garnished nice with chillie and ginger, real authentic taste.

Naans were nice but I've had softer.. we ordered peshwari naan too which was nice. The rice dish was basic but tasty.

Overall, the platter was great value for money and really tasty. I gave 4 stars for service because, as we were eating our starters, we were getting interrupted with our other dishes. Would ve prefered for us to finish our starters first then main come out.. but that was the only thing. Other than that, couldn't fault the place, staff were great, atmosphere was lovely, nice and busy. I think we'll returning there...

If you're looking for authentic Pakistani cuisine that tastes just like home, House of Kebabish is the place to be! The flavors are absolutely spot on – the Lamb Karahi is a must-try, packed with rich spices and tender meat. The Nihari and Haleem are both incredible as well, perfectly cooked with layers of deep flavor that transport you straight to Pakistan.

An honorable mention to the Lamb Seekh Kebabs – they’re perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection. Every bite is pure bliss!

The service here is always top-notch; the staff are friendly, welcoming, and attentive. It’s definitely my go-to spot in Leicester whenever I crave something authentic and delicious.

What truly sets this place apart is the portion size and value for money – the food is filling and reasonably priced, especially compared to other places in the area. You get so much for your money, and the quality is always consistent. Anyone who visits Leicester, I bring them here and they fall in love as well....

I placed an order for take away over the phone, they said it would take maximum 40 minutes, I reached after 50 minutes to collect the food and it was not ready, i had to wait for another 10-15 minutes. When i went again the food was not ready they said the items were a lot so it takes time. So let me share to you guys what i ordered, it was half peri peri chicken, chicken shashlik, lamb tikka masala and 2 tandoori rotis which according to them it was a lot. They took more than 1 hour to prepare the order and the lamb was not cooked, the rotis were so dry. The other customer also shared his experience that the workers always give wrong collection time so they always come late to collect their food. But I have to say that their chicken was good however it was my first order and it was a very bad experinece for me. Very bad service by their staff. I would never...
