IKEA Restaurant — Restaurant in Great Britain

Got to the Cafe Coffee bar not the main restaurant. Asked for a latte large got given a flat white. Also last time a came I was served by a lovely lady who said if I purchased a large latte I would get it for the price of a regular. To which she did as I had a family card. This time the gentleman was not allowing me to do this I had also purchased a cake. He was clearing up as it closed not long after I eventually got my latte but he had given me a regular when I paid for a large. The ikea restaurant is hit or miss. Sometimes it can be a smooth & quick process. Other times it’s absolutely manic. Quite often they seem really really short staffed which comes with many issues like, not enough people on the tills, not enough food and drinks topped up in the fridges and not enough food being cooked. As well as lack of tables being cleaned. If you go at quieter times you’ll obviously get a better experience. That’s my only advice. But I think it’s always a must to have a meal here every time...

Price. Price. Price. Price. Price. And service is not bad when we went despite what other reviews say. We were served meatballs by an enthusiastic young man, and the cashier was also helpful. The food is yum, nothing wrong with it. However, the tables, chairs etc were dirty, the drink machines were broken, and no cutlery. The staff did come to fix the machines though. We avoided the long queues by going at around 4pm. Avoid lunch and dinner times I reckon, as the queues got much...
