Konak Mediterranean & Fine Dining — Restaurant in Great Britain

A Fantastic New Turkish-Mediterranean Restaurant! We recently discovered Konak Mediterranean, a brand-new Turkish-Mediterranean restaurant, and it instantly became one of our favorites. I ordered the Eat Mediterrano large, tender cubes of lamb, oven-cooked with colorful peppers, a rich and flavorful gravy, and creamy mash potato. The lamb was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, perfectly seasoned, and full of authentic flavors. For a new restaurant, the quality and service were outstanding. The portion size was generous, the presentation beautiful, and the price surprisingly affordable for such high-quality food. After our meal, we moved outside to enjoy the warm evening air with some refreshing, perfectly mixed cocktails. The outdoor seating area had a relaxed, inviting atmosphere ideal for a date night or meeting friends. Konak Mediterranean is a welcome new addition to the area, combining the best of Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine with friendly service and great value. Definitely worth a visit before it becomes the most talked-about...

We recently attended for a birthday dinner

On first entry, we were welcomed with warmth and passion. The cocktails are reasonably priced and actual cocktails, no out of a tap nonsense, you can taste each note of flavour as was intended and you can tell they're made with care.

The starters were swift and excellent and the bread and condiments went down a treat.

The mains came quickly and the plates were stacked high, moreover everything was cooked excellently. The waiter never failed to check on us, was joyful and made us feel at home.

I had the lovely pleasure of speaking with many of the staff throughout the evening around the restaurant, and once learning about the birthday a baklava that was divine appeared for the table and a bottle of wine was presented to us. We could not have asked for a better evening.

Butterfly prawns 10/10 Lamb Chops and Ribs 10/10 Pornstar Martini 10/10 Chilean wine 10/10

I heard glowing review about this place but unfortunately my review isn’t.

The restaurant is nice and clean considering the news article about the previous owner and their standard of Hygine. On the face of it everything seemed nice and clean which was reassuring.

The service was okay, I think a little too attentive. One of the waiter kept saying a word (which I forgot) I think he kept saying ‘enjoy’ at the end of each interaction. He basically kept repeating the same word and it started to get abit annoying.

The food wasn’t that great. The halloumi was cold and didn’t taste that fresh. The main dish I felt like the meat had a weird smell to it which kept putting me off.

The price was also higher than other grill house on city road but if the food was amazing then they could justify it. However this wasn’t the case in my visit.

Would I return… unfortunately I wouldn’t, the food wasn’t anything...
