Roath Park as it was called when I was a child is a lovely Park that has become even better Pleasure Park for all ages. You have the play ground with swings and slides that are great fun for youngsters. You must supervisor your own child/children. The grassed area where you can play ball games. The Boating lake where you can hire rowing boats and Pedallos for a charge and enjoy the lovely lake area. In the Lake you will see the Lighthouse commemorating Captain Scotts voyage leaving Cardiff Docks on a Polar Expedition. Only downside is the lake itself, years of Blue Algae have meant hiring a boat is no longer an option.
