I adore Indian food... I don't really indulge as most of the Indian takeaways in my area are not to my taste, quiet often being very greasy and far too sugary... I had high hopes when laapsi opened up and I wasn't disappointed... The food is fresh, packed full of flavour, not swimming in ghee and just delicious... I've tried their specials dishes mainly and can't wait to try more... If you want authentic Indian food...

Unfortunately we will never order again from your restaurant. First time ordering from you and was very disappointed. Have had suspected food poisoning and chicken in the curry's were both dry chewy meat. Odd colour from a dhansak and far too hot/spicy to even eat. This has been reported to the FSA as has caused vomiting and chronic...

The best curry in Southbourne. I can't speak for the rest of the menu but I had the Kala Bhuna (80) and it was by far the best curry I've had in a long time especially on the south coast 👍 Full of flavour, authentic and recommended by the friendly staff. Will be my go to place from now on and I look forward to trying more dishes....
