My review is a balanced one, based on the whole experience dining for the first time at the Tiny Italian. Food: the food quality was excellent, and we enjoyed really lovely pizzas. The shared antipasti board was a bit overpriced and did not reflect the image on the website at all. Service: we ate early and there were only two other tables other than ours. The waitress/owner was very friendly and greeted us warmly. Atmosphere: nice decor, cosy and romantic. The bad stuff: we were aware that it was a bring your own booze restaurant and brought a bottle of wine and two beers. We were astounded to check the bill and see we had been charged £4 for corkage of the wine (which was a screw top and we opened it ourselves) and £2 for each of the beers. We were not informed about this by the waitress either before or after our meal. So in total, for the luxury of bringing our own booze we were charged £8, which made those beers VERY expensive! I wouldn’t mind paying corkage if the waitress had actually lifted a finger, and yes you can say “Well, you did use their glasses to drink out of” but you can’t tell me a glass costs £2 to wash. So all in all, if you want my honest review, as nice as the food was, we will never...

Great buzzy atmosphere inside. Thanks for a...
