Wow, sadly won't be going back in a rush, originally booked our table a week ago and stated Saturday evening, as my parents were down to visit me. We arrive at the restaurant to be greeted by stating that they had us down for the day before. I stated that's not what I booked, but they still honoured the table. Didn't really walk us to the table or state we could have the table, they almost seemed annoyed we are there to eat in the restaurant.

Well that was just the start of our experience, as soon as we got relaxed we were bombarded by staff stating they need the extra small table that we were sat on, moved us up and left us with hardly any room to move, we had to move our table ourselves so we could fit! My mother recently got over cancer and she needed a bit of comfort, this was not the case. We asked for a jug of water as we just finished one, we had an eye roll from the staff member and then got given glasses as they said they need jugs for alcoholic drinks.

From this point we were annoyed and felt like the place was a bull in a china shop, it was chaos! We ordered and food was excellent . We finished and were asked if they could clear our table, they only took 6 plates and left us with plates on the table till we almost left.

We then asked for the bill and got given the wrong tables bill twice! Basically, this place has sadly gone down hill since I went in there a year ago.

Disappointed as I had high expectations from my first visit. My parents weren't impressed and I can say we won't be...

I recently celebrated a family birthday at Carlos, and while the food was truly exceptional, the service at the end of our meal was incredibly disappointing. After 90 minutes at our table, we were asked to leave because other people were waiting for the table. What's frustrating is that these individuals were just passersby, whereas we had booked the table at 4.30pm, in advance for a special family celebration.

Given the considerable amount we spent on the meal, being asked to vacate the table felt quite rude and ruined the celebratory atmosphere. The owner did offer us two bottles of wine as an apology, which was a kind gesture. However, we would have much rather finished the drinks we had just ordered in the comfort of our table inside. Instead, we were relocated to a table outside, which wasn't ideal, especially with a 3-year-old in tow, as it was situated right by a main road.

While the food was fantastic, the service issue left a sour taste. Perhaps a more flexible approach to table allocation or clearer communication about their policies could enhance the dining experience for...

I am really sorry, but I do NOT recommend this place to anyone! Went to the Casa Carlos restaurant to enjoy our evening with my partner. We had a couple of recommended dishes and a dish what was called world famous “Chicken Fajitas “, but looking more like some kind of “ Chicken Wrap”, however despite the fact that it wasn’t a desirable dish to eat I decided to give it a go and eat it thinking of not wasting the food. The chicken was fully covered with garlic, that it made me wonder what kind of dish it really is and why would they put so much garlic in it. After we got back to the hotel, the following morning I started feeling really sick, ending up vomiting and diarrhea. Now it’s been 2 days since it started and I am still vomiting and having a the other end issue. Thanks to this horrible experience I had to terminate my holidays as I am not able to enjoy the day due to my health issue, just lying in bed back at home and trying to get through the day, hoping it will...

We walked past this little gem, the aroma was pulling us inside, the bustle and verve was like that of a bistro in Barcelona, but we didn't think we would get a table as we hadn't booked and it was a Friday night.... the waiter that greeted us was typically Mediterranean, charming and forthright but with just the right amount fun to relax you. He cleaned and set a table that had just seen its last occupants leave and we sat as we took in the decor and the menu. The menu and ordering system is brilliant and easy, and we waited only a few minutes to see the arrival of our tapas dishes, garlic prawns, patatas braves, meatballs, croquettes.... and more! Every dish was a joy to eat! The flavours were amazing, we ordered too much but I soldiered on and made it to the end! 😉 I wish we lived local as this would easily be my new regular, alas the drive from Bristol is long! I can't wait until we are back in the area again!! 11/10!!!

Soooo I took my grandparents here for my grandma's birthday along with my partner (who has never actually been to Spain or even a Spanish restaurant.... Bless him) As soon as we entered, we were so warmly welcomed, asked if we had been there before and when we replied no the waitress was beyond helpful and knowledgeable. She explained how the menus and the resteraunt works, took our drink orders, explained how many tapas meal would feed how many people etc and said we could always order more if we wanted too but was honest and said about not over ordering. My partner tried their sangria which again was a first for him, we all ended up trying it and then it was that good we all ordered one for ourselves each 🍹🇪🇸🥘🥘 All of the staff were friendly, polite, knowledgeable, the restaurant it's self was clean and the decor is stunning and the food..... Just delightful. No other words. Good job chef!

The food was absolutely excellent!! The service was pretty quick too, considering it being nearly full 15 minutes after their opening time. The food had an excellent authentic taste with a good portion size! They apparently do takeaway when they aren't as busy as they were. I would also love to see them work with one of the popular delivery services in town as I would love to have proper paella delivered to my door. My only complaint is that the seating seemed a bit cramped and we probably wouldn't have gotten a table if we didn't show up at exactly opening time. By half past they were turning people away. Excellent and friendly experience overall!
