From the moment we walked in, we were made to feel so welcome. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between relaxed and stylish, with warm, friendly service that genuinely added to the whole experience.

Drinks-wise, Samantha had a virgin passion fruit martini which was fresh, fruity, and beautifully presented – a real treat even without the alcohol. I went for an old fashioned, and it was spot on – smooth, well-balanced, and clearly made with care.

While we waited, we nibbled on prawn crackers which came with a tasty dipping sauce, setting the tone nicely. We then shared two starters: chicken satay skewers and the hot honey & chilli crispy pork. Both were absolutely delicious – the satay was rich and nutty with perfectly grilled chicken, and the pork had just the right balance of sweet heat and crunch. We were honestly tempted to order more right then and there!

For mains, we went classic with a Thai red curry and a pad Thai. It’s safe to say Little Lotus have nailed the flavours – the curry was rich, fragrant, and packed with tender meat and vegetables, while the pad Thai was exactly what you want: slightly sweet, savoury, nutty, and wonderfully comforting.

It was presented beautifully and felt like a dish created with real care.
