"SCAM" Did you buy a Mcdonalds and not recieve any game play wrappers / cups?
Several times and at several stores this happened to me.
I was one token away from nealry every prize category on the board, so naturally spent more money and visited more stores much more frequently to try and win one of the items.
At another store, when I questioned this on one occasion, I was rudely and dismissively told that they are "subject to availability" Even though there were at times weeks to go on the competition.
On the next occassion and a different branch a very friendly member of staff informed me that they have game play stickers in case they ran out and happily attached them to my food and drink.
I then proceeeded to ask for game play stickers when I recieved a non branded item.
In this store I overheard on one occasion staff being told not to give them out and the member of staff being told off for it.
My question is why??
For information -
All stores are issued with extra sticker rolls..
Apparently, for items that dont have game play stickers?
This is clearly open to abuse by staff members and management.
Hint Your unused boxes and drinks should be used instead if you dont have the correct game play packaging.
Clearly they must be being binned, which is a huge waste and unfair on paying customers.
Also, if you have game play stickers then give them out to customers, instead of wasting so much on new packaging... you run the competiron annualy, so if you cant predict the amount you need weeks in before the competition ends then the stickers may be the better route, and advertise it so customers know if and how to get them.
This competition is far from transparent which is a legal...
Read moreUtterly appalling. A McDonald’s is never a “fine dining” choice, however the appeal is to that of the “fast food” theme so many eateries have used to build their name. My experience that warrants this stern review is set when I popped in for a trip to McDonald’s for an order as simple as two “Big Mac meal’s ”, something that all workers should be trained to craft well and to an efficient manner. I placed my order, the clocked ticked on. Customers came and went. 35 minutes I waited until the sluggish, uninterested employee hands the bag over and informs that she is “sorry for the wait”. Her facial expressions and actions showed she spoke no truth in her words. It was when I got home I was met with the next level of my dissatisfaction and disappointment when I discovered the lazy git had taken no effort into doing her job and simply placing the little sauce that I had requested during my ordering process into the bag. Not only this but the “extra sauce” on my Big Mac could not have been found. This is theft as for more sauce to be added the price will rise. This means I have payed for something I have not received and as a result I am unpleased to say they least. McDonald’s used to be a personal favourite of mine however my personal opinion of the fast food giant has tanked in...
Read moreEvery time I go here there's a trainee cashier who can't count. Also, they always ask you to park at the nearest bay and they'll bring it out. 10 mins later it appears and because its Winter the food is not very hot, having been blasted by cold outside air. Is this fast food? No, it's slow cold food.
Further update: I will be contacting HQ because service today absolutely appalling. At first window there is no welcome, no please, no thank you, no customer service. Hardly even look at customer. Young, predominantly female, staff all smirking and gossiping to each other instead of serving customer. Next window? Worse. The sour face on them. One idiot with terrible attitude didn't even hand me the coffees. Left them at side. Waiting ages , car queues behind. Called over manager. She looked so sour and I saw the two of them grinning, they seemed to enjoy delaying me and providing zero service. Eventually got them handed to me. I earlier complained to manager and she didn't say a word. These people have unbelievably bad attitude. Please just sack useless people and replace with thousands of very decent and...
