McDonald's — Restaurant in Great Britain

If you ever visit this place be sure of one thing? The incompetence of the staff here is beyond anything you will experience. I don’t particularly like fast food or encourage it, it’s a kids treat. Every time I visit here I am reminded of this fact; the staff are totally incompetent and seemingly challenged to ever provide you with the food that you have ordered and paid for even during quiet periods…. This is not a one off, that can be forgiven as everyone makes mistakes. This is consistent, every time we go and give them the benefit of the doubt that THIS time will be different ( they will give us our order) it’s simply not. Shame on the managers, owners and the staff… it’s disgraceful! It’s a sad state of affairs when our nation is so hooked on this type of food that appalling service, standards and professional can be compromised without consumer penalty, loyalty and reputation. Awful service and continued incompetence is the only consistency you will experience here.I will write to their head office again which will result in the same consequences - no action and some rubbish 10 voucher no doubt! Absolutely apalling service and disgusting attitude from the workers at drive through. Huge queue, order the food, window to pay and screen did not work or show my order, took payment anyway and says go to next window just to be told payment did not go through. I said the guy didn’t say anything to me otherwise I would have tried, offered to pay and they refused said they don’t have the card machine, given in cash and told to keep the change and he refused and said I have to go again all the way through around McDonald’s. Told him if he was aware of the long queue and already did it once, not my fault their screen was not working and the guy did not even bother to check if payment went through correctly, still adamant to take payment and told to either park and get into the store or go again around! Not even worth the one star ive had to give. Come to this macds, we were out of town passing through, so we used the drive thru . we asked for two toffee lattes and 2 apple pies, order was wrong when we asked them at the window to remedy it they said no and wanted us to drive round again, if we order something its your job to listen and get it right, not make us run around your store because of your incompetence . Staff definitely need retraining and need to learn what customer service is. Workers couldnt even make a toffee latte without getting the syrup down the cups, and ive got toffee syrup on my pants Cheers for unpleasantness.
