Nino's Trattoria Italiana — Restaurant in Great Britain

On my first and second visit. The food was amazing, everything cooked from scratch with fresh produce. The service was excellent with a real personal touch. Third time I visited with my family we were asked to stand outside because our table wasn't ready. This then progressed to it was our fault we were early (we were exactly on time). We had the joy of being pushed past by other guests who where being seated. While the whole time I could see the 4 seat table by the window which I requested in advance made up and empty. I ended up going in and complaining. Got more bs about we weren't guaranteed the window table and they are a small restaurant without a waiting area. Eventually after getting very cross we were seated at the table I had requested. The other table they wanted to shove us on and were trying to make me wait for wasn't occupied till long after we seated. I'm sure my review will be disagreed with by the establishment, but to cut a log story short you left my parents in their late 70s, one who has cancer, my husband also recently recovering from surgery and me trying to celebrate my birthday stood outside waiting in the rain cus you wanted to prioritise giving the window table to someone else. The seats under the front canopy were not an option to sit and wait on because they were covered in water due to it raining all day. From start to finish.. We received the highest level of service and food - all within a fabulous & safe environment. A return visit for my parents but my first time .. and it exceeded my expectations by far! The staff were informative and so friendly. From hearing the surrounding greetings, it was clear many of the customers were return customers and Nino and his staff would take the time to converse with them. A good sign of exceptional food was the fact I enjoyed mine immensely and still had food envy of the 3 other meals we had at our table. You will not be disappointed but may over indulge due to the incredible taste and quality. In addition, Nino Jr. has gone out of his way to maintain the charismatic Italian atmosphere whilst subtly providing a safe environment during the pandemic. I just love this place! My Mother and I visit on a monthly basis as part of a New Years resolution of mine. We planned to visit different restaurants local to us, however after visiting Nino's we tried one other place. The food was over priced and over seasoned also sadly we were repeatedly ignored by our waitress as she was attached to her mobile phone! We decided to make Nino's our regular place to go and haven't regretted it. The staff are incredibly friendly and couldn't make us feel more welcome. My Mother and I try various different dishes, sides and puddings all of which, without exception have been exquisite. The menu has been regularly updated with delicious dishes and even a scrumptious summer cocktail!
