Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Great Britain

Don’t know what happened to this place. Used to order regularly from them then last time I ordered about a year ago the pizza hadn’t arrived after 2 hours so called to find out where it was and they kept hanging up the phone without answering. Eventually after about 30 minutes of constant calling they answered saying they were very busy. By this time I’d had enough and had to go out to work so told them to cancel the order which they said they would. Another 30 minutes later (3 hours after I had placed the order)as I was leaving to go to work the food arrived even though I cancelled it! I refused the delivery told him it was cancelled. 10 days after I still hadn’t received a refund and ended up having to go to the shop to get it done. Stupidly I thought their service that night might have been a one off and gotten better since then so placed an order at 6.37pm this evening. Now 8.23pm and still waiting. Been trying to call them for 30 minutes and rings out and cuts off as before. Food finally arrived at 8.50 no apology from the delivery driver. Gave these monkeys a second chance and nothing has changed still terrible. No more business from again. Will stick to PizzaHut as they are always good and deliver in 20 minutes. Advise everyone to avoid this place. Oh and the food was cold...

Ordered a pizza for delivery, after 1hour tried to call; no answer, tried several times, no answer. Drove down there to be told that their delivery driver didn’t want to work that day. Loads of orders had been taken & they clearly had no intention of fulfilling them or cancelling them with customers! After a lot of deliberation, they offered me a refund and said I could take my order. The server signed my receipt stating I would receive a refund. Waited a week, no refund so went back, again after a lot of deliberation and passing of the buck to head office and changing their minds to whom the manager was, they ended up giving me a free pizza with the promise of a refund which had to come from their head office as was an online order. Another week passed and the refund was received. Total shambles!! Order from Dominoes, never had an issue. Only tried here as fancied a change;...

We were delivered completely the wrong pizza. We phoned and we were told that they would return with the correct pizza but wanted proof of the incorrect delivery so not to eat it. An hour later we called to see where the 2nd delivery was and was told that they were too busy to return with the correct order, so now we were left with a cold, pizza that wasnt correct. They refused to refund at first, then after a lot of presuasion agreed to refund £17 off the £50 order. This refund was never processed so they were just lying to get is off the phone.
