My family and I were looking for vegan dessert on a Friday evening and most places were closed. I fancied some cheesecake as it was my birthday and we came across Purezza on our Google search. Unfortunately, they were really busy and it looked like we weren't getting a table. The lady we spoke to was very unhelpful. We were happy to wait for a table but she seemed so uninterested in us and just told us that they're too busy. I expected her to at least inform us of the waiting time but she hesitated when we asked. We felt very unwelcome. Nevertheless, we waited outside and asked her to call us when a table was available. She didn't. Eventually, after waiting for over 20 mins we approached another member of staff who I can firmly say, saved Purezza from getting a one star for service. Henry made us feel so welcome. He was friendly, polite and always smiling. He arranged a table for us and we ended up ordering some pizzas too. Henry even had the chefs make my son a Mickey shaped pizza! Adorable! The desserts were delicious - exactly what we were looking for (although the portion sizes were a bit on the small side) we thoroughly enjoyed our cheesecakes and brownie. Thank you Henry for your hard work and attentiveness. Purezza are lucky to have you! ⭐

Purezza is LITERALLY the best vegan pizza restaurant on this planet! I decided I'd get their Parmigiana Party, which won Pizza of the Year 2018 at the National Pizza Awards (beating non-vegan pizzas might I add) and my wife got the Cheesesteak Calzone. We also got a side of the dough balls, which in my opinion is an absolute must have and if you don't get these, did you even go to Purezza? The dough balls have the most incredible melted vegan cheddar on the planet and are sublime! My pizza had a tomato base with smoked mozzarella and topped with aubergine and crumbled sausage, finished with a dusting of nooch. The pizza was completely flawless, and with so much flavour. it is easily one of the best pizzas I've ever experienced! The Calzone was oozing with melted cheese and inside contained shaved seitan, caramelised onions, roasted pepper and parsley. The calzone was also fantastic! Highly recommend you try this place out, vegan or not! 💚

I had been looking forward to Purezza all week, and while the food didn't disappoint, the overall experience was a mixed bag. We ordered a variety of pizzas, garlic potatoes, and meatballs, all of which were fantastic and well worth the wait. However, that’s where the positives end. The service was quite poor, and the staff didn’t seem to care much about the dining experience. My family received their food 10 minutes before mine because the two guys cooking forgot about my pizza. When it finally arrived, there was no apology or acknowledgment of the delay. The staff seemed more interested in chatting, eating, and engaging with a laptop at one of the tables than actually providing good service. It’s a real shame because the effort put into the dough, cheeses, and food is obvious, but it’s wasted on staff who don’t seem to care. To top it off, a 13% service charge was automatically added to the bill. I chose not to argue about it in front of my children, but it’s something others should be aware of if they're surprised by such charges.

The first time I had lunch here I thought it was just a new artisan pizza joint, and I can't say that's wrong. It wasn't until the waiter explained the cheese board we'd ordered after the pizza that it dawned on me that something was afoot. It just so happens that this sustainable pizza place also happens to have vegan principles, which was a surprise for this omnivore - on this occasion, no-one mentioned the v word until we asked for an explanation of the unrecognised cheese selection being presented. One rarely enjoys lunch that's conditionally attached to a fanatical ethos (Gruel at the Hari Krishna place anyone?) but I'm hugely pleased the food here is offered, made. served and delivered by a really professional hospitality team who's first objective is to provide tasty, high quality food that just happens to be vegan too. A very welcome addition to the local pizza joints without a doubt.

We had a lovely meal here upon a recommendation from my mum who is vegan. The whole menu is plant based. We arrived at about 5pm prior to it getting quite busy. Two of us had pizza's which were super yummy. The bases are really very tasty and you have options to make them from alternative ingredients - hemp and freedom bases were on offer for a few pounds more but we were happy to just have the wholemeal. One of our group had 'the one with pesto' and another 'the seasonal one'. I opted for something different the 'pure bowl' a salad type gorgeous mix of lentils, buckwheat, kale, courgettes, sun soaked tomatoes and crispy corn. We shared a chocolate pizza between the 3 of us for dessert - which was a good size and about right amount after our meal. Everyone's food was delicious and staff attentive. Will definitely be back.
