I came here with family for a family friendly pre Christmas show to see Leona Lewis. Where to start… there were a row of drunk people, baring in mind it was a family event more like stepping onto the set of Jeremy Kyle than an inspiring pre Christmas show.
As the drunk group were being very loud and arrogant, one other audience member got up and spoke to the loudest woman and said ‘please can you have some respect’ as she was talking rather loudly throughout the entire show. They kept going to the bar and being served more alcohol anyone would think they were at a bottomless brunch.
As things progressed, a female ‘security’ guard was told by an audience member about their behaviour and she came in and ‘warned’ the group. As she left the first woman got up and started to film the man who told her to have some respects face with a bright torch on her phone.
To this, the guard was called in again but nothing was done. Then it gets worse, towards the end of the show the other woman in their group decided to change seats directly opposite to me, she looked at me and threatened me not to put my feet on her coat as she hung her coat over her seat..
Then… towards the end she vomited all over her seat, coat and the floor stinking the place out even getting other customers to move out their seats and watch the show from the passage way including us.
To this, I decided to talk to security and the house manager. They were very incompetent making all kinds of excuses as to why nothing was done.
It baffles me how so many staff can be so incompetent and indirectly ruin it for everyone else involved. The manager didn’t see friendly or helpful at all and said ‘you should have warned us’ we did an entire section of the audience told more than one security guard. I use that role term loosely.
The manager appeared defensive, looking like she was sucking on a sour sweet or been stung by a wasp. Along with the ‘security team’ who seemed half asleep and unbothered. I’m not even sure if they knew who they were or what their role was they were so slap dash about the whole thing.
It ruined the last 20 minute of the show for the whole family and others in the audience too. With no sincere apology or urgency to offer any alternative apart from a heap of excuses.
It baffles me who puts these people in these positions where they are totally incompetent to do their job or give any basic level of customer service. The manager didn’t explain the complaints policy apart from saying ‘we could have moved you if we’d known’.
Avoid this place, unless you want to tread in sick, get threatened by drunk people who the security team and manager seem to side with, it’s gone to the...

As a visitor in Brighton, I find myself immersed in a vibrant and dynamic energy, a sensation that extends beyond the visible and tangible aspects of the city. The environment resonates with an almost quantum-like charge, where the interplay of light, movement, and human connection creates an atmosphere of heightened awareness and appreciation.
The reflection of sunlight on the waves transforms the sea into a shimmering expanse of refracted brilliance, each ripple carrying a sense of motion and possibility. The air, imbued with the fresh scent of the ocean and the inviting aroma of local cuisine, enhances the sensory experience, anchoring me in the present moment.
Walking along Brighton Pier, I feel a distinct pulse beneath my feet, as if the very structure holds the collective energy of countless visitors before me. The soundscape—composed of the rhythmic crashing of waves, the calls of seagulls, and the laughter of tourists—creates a dynamic and ever-evolving melody.
The streets of Brighton further amplify this sense of vibrancy. Colorful storefronts, artistic expressions, and the diverse interactions of people contribute to an environment of creative stimulation and social warmth. Musicians, performers, and local artisans add layers of cultural richness, making every moment feel uniquely charged with life.
In this setting, there is an undeniable sense of presence—a feeling of being both a participant and an observer in a continuously unfolding experience. The city’s energy is not just physical but also perceptual, an invisible yet palpable force that enhances the joy of exploration.
As I take in the surroundings, I recognize that Brighton offers more than just scenic beauty; it provides an experience of energetic connection, where each moment feels enriched by the interplay of light, motion, and human engagement. It is a place that leaves an imprint not only on memory but also on the deeper awareness of the self within a larger,...
