The long awaited return didn't disappoint.

I remembered the old location and it's amazing take on fish and chips and now the new place is hitting out with the same quality.

The fish n chips aren't your traditional style batter but I'd say it's alot better than 90% of the soggy batter you usually get. It's super crispy whilst the fish is just melt in the mouth. The masala fish again isn't the traditional style , it's basically the normal battered fish with a special masala mix powder sprinkled on top then served with fresh chillies and onion. The masala fish is my go to everytine , I think I went 4 times in a week.

The mix grill was also nice , the kobeda , although nice, is more resemblance to a traditional seekh kebab but just shaped differently , only gripe I had for the grill was the lamb chops were a bit tough , flavour wise tho they were nice.

The fusion noodles were great , they do have a proper chilli kick so if you don't like spice you best not order it or see if the guys can tone it down. For me tho they were very moreish

Atmosphere downstairs is just soso it does the job and the upstairs although a bit more private it's shared with the next door restaurant is much the same music was a bit too loud for me.

For me I wouldn't be running to red pepper to have a nice family dinner for an occasion , but I would definitely go with the family to have some lovely food.

Service was ok , the owner prides himself on sending out the best food he can and that he does , it may take 5/10mins longer than you might usual wait at other places but the quality is there.

A small point for me is the drinks are expensive at £2 for a can and going up for bottles/glass bottles. Can add up quick for a larger party.

Worst service ever …ordered and paid online , indicated 1 hr max , 75 mins … no food called them, sorry but very busy, as if that’s an excuse .. Told me to come and collect in 20 mins , as delivery would be 45mins , even though I’d paid for delivery… got there 20mins .. first few mins not even hi .. then I asked said it’s just being done .. 20 mins later .. ready !!! I complained and they offered 2 free drinks which I refused and reminded them they owed me for delivery,, by which time I was angrty and told them keep it as a tip.Left .maasala fish .. is fish with masala sprinkled on the batter , tbe fish was not marinated, Chips ok , chicken tikka very nice , chicken steaks average … why run a place where every is not professional ….most others would have returned all money.. like desi Dhabba .Avoid...

Travelled far out as always enjoyed the food at their previous location. Disappointed and won't be going back. Issues we encountered:

Waited 10mins to be served even though no one was in front of us at the till.

Dirty floors with food pieces all over.

Eventually when we got our food, they asked everyone on the other tables if they ordered this food. Why can't they have a proper ordering system or one of those buzzers or even table numbers which can be handed out once then order is placed.

Multiple different business names all over including Fireaway on the card receipt and fromajio.

Whilst waiting they plated someone's delivery order and started screaming with each other.

Too many staff doing the same thing. Maybe they need Gorson Ramsay...
