Had Tapas and wonderful Sangria here today with my husband, about 2:30pm.
The only reason I’ve marked down atmosphere is because we were the only customers.
We ordered a series of starters and had them as Tapas, huge portions, we loved all the food but particularly loved the mussels, huge portion, the belly pork and the chicken wings. Along with this we had our favourite “cook your own chorizo over an open flame” and some battered fish strips, all were served by a lovely friendly waitress, each with their own delicious sauces, alongside fresh crusty bread and garlic flatbread.
The Sangria was so good we managed 2 1 litre carafes between the two of us.

I’ve had the homemade bread with garlic butter and flaming chorizo and honey glazed halloumi sticks for starters, all are so good! I’ve tried the steak and chicken skewers which are huge. Can’t believe how much meat you get for the money. The sides of slaw and sautéed potatoes I can’t enough of and the Madeira wine sauce I could drink from the pot. It combined the best of the now closed Skewers in Rochford ( also part of the same family run restaurant) and O Picardo. It is is mainly Skewers base food ...ie skewers of various meats and seafood.
