Bombay Blues — Restaurant in Great Britain

Normally service is wonderful however, ordered online today, an hour went past so we called to be told it would be a further 20minutes with no apology ir anything.... hour and half passed of which a driver turned up asking full price. We had to call the restaurant to which took even longer as Noone picked up when they did the man on the other end only offered £1 off the price!! We only gave a fiver as this was ridiculous and a joke to ask for just a pound less. Got In took the curry out to find we were short of a rice. Called back to the restaurant the 'manager' who I was apparently speaking to over talked me was rude and said we could have the rice if we went and got it and offered nothing more said he was too busy to do anything for us and all three drivers were an hour away!! Never been more appalled by a take away service for a long time!! Definitely would not recommend, foods not even that great and bhajis are soggy. Wouldn't even give one star but it wouldn't let me...

Have been using this restaurant now for a few months now, my partner is a vegetarian and ordered a Quorn Masala, as usual. Opened up the boxes, "Q Moss" written on top, gave her the meal, ate mine as was starving, thought it tasted a bit weird, but mixed with the vegetable curry and onion, and rice just ate it and thought nothing of it. My partner bit into the chicken and was dismayed that this was clearly not Quorn. Called restaurant to discuss to be confronted by a really rude man who said he didn't get it wrong. In not so many words. I will pop in and have a chat with him as he clearly likes to mouth off over the phone..... All he had to do was say, sorry we made a mistake, but no, he had to get gobby. Be careful if you are veggie, and watch for the attitude when you call up...

I ordered the set menu for delivery with what was supposed to be a chicken bhuna but not sure that is what I got.

The curry was just meat and sauce and the sauce is like Ford radiant red, if you Google chicken bhuna none of the images are this colour.

The flavour is not unpleasant but has ZERO spiciness and tastes sweet like a korma.

The pilau rice is not particularly flavoursome and comes in hi vis luminous green/yellow.

The Bombay potato actually looked as it should and was a good portion but a bit cold but tastes nice.

I ordered a spicy poppadom which came folded and I'm not sure why.

All in all it wasn't terrible but I definitely wouldn't ever order again and would tell people to avoid unless you like your curry looking like someone went mad with a paint set and...
