Tesco Café — Restaurant in Great Britain

Can't comment on the food as we couldn't eat it. Hash browns were served FROZEN. The tea cups were filthy. Took 4 attempts to find an almost clean cup. The server who I spoke to regarding the cups did no more than grunt. Not one comprehensible word came from her mouth. The cutlery was filthy. We asked for a full refund when we found the frozen hash browns. I would not let a pig eat in that cafe. Not one word of apology. The website on the receipt inviting comments has been shutdown. Try emailing or speaking on the phone with someone from Tesco. Its impossible. They have turned off the emails. I doubt if Tesco will allow this post to be published but...

The Tesco website shows different hours than I posted in store so I was lucky that I didn't miss service. The food for what it is was absolutely fine. I had said that I would eat in and yet it was still delivered in a takeaway bag in takeaway boxes which I found somewhat perplexing. The cake that I ordered was sterile and dry and basically crumbled.

Very poor service. Not enough staff. Took over 40 minutes to get food. Was offered a refund but would have preferred my food!! Also surprised to see, a local supermarket who should be supporting all of the local community is card only in the cafe. What about people that don’t have ability to pay by card?
