Best bar in the area - no doubt about that.
The bar staff were faultless, atmosphere was brilliant and the interior of the bar is great - so bright and modern, but with plenty of character and nods to the ship in the name. Excellent selection of beers on draught (Cruzcampo is now my favourite lager) and the verdita shot to go with the tequila was a unique treat!

Read moreUsed to have good beer but not now. No hot water to wash with but good supply of liquid soap. Usually cold and damp, no welcome, no service. Poor seating, no interest shown in the business. Very popular at times with locals that stand close together but best forgotten. Live music was years ago and the place is so small, more of a publicity campaign with the photo shoot. I had high expectations, was looking forward to visiting, but was somewhat disappointed. The young staff were friendly enough but were clearly bored, it was dead for a bank holiday weekend and the interior doesnt seem sure what sort of pub it wants to be.
