Rayners (formally the star and garter), is the large impressive Victorian style community pub. A large L-shaped room with a separate room with a pool table. There is also a nice secluded courtyard beer garden. There is a wide choice of beers and lagers, sadly no cask conditioned hand pulled real Ale. I went to Raynors for the first time to watch Fish and Leather. What a super local pub, the girl behind the bar was smiley, the landlady was warm and so welcoming and the locals seemed to enjoy having a few new faces in.
