Very good well cooked crisp battered fish it comes in two sizes and if you are a really tight budget try the fish fritter.

Owner or manager does all he can to help. And always has a smile for his customers.

Regal do seem able to resist the temptation to take chips from deep fat fryer when they are pale brown. They wait till they are well cooked and golden.

There are options for all budgets.

My only comment that I have shared with staff if that when busy it is very unclear how the queue works people are just huddled you are not sure who is next to order

Just had an incredible fish and chips from Regal Fisheries and I have to say – it was absolutely delicious! The fish was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft, flaky on the inside – cooked to perfection. The chips were thick-cut and golden, just the way I like them.

The portion size was generous, and the curry sauce added the perfect touch of flavour. The included condiments were a great bonus too – Heinz ketchup, mayonnaise, and tartare sauce.

Absolutely disgusting we paid £22.89 for 2 large haddock, 2 regular chips and large mushy peas ... the chips were black and dry, the fish was so dry it was stuck to the rock hard batter... the peas.. apparently large at £1.80 were no different in size to standard peas we've had from elsewhere even the dog refused to eat it so in the bin it went.

Disgusted to say Regal Fisheries never contacted us... I wouldn't recommend and definitely will never use again... First...
