I do Love Greggs bakery, I me a who does, but there's a but.... As a regular user of Greggs, after a few days of using them the sandwiches become bland and boring so I've gone from using them every day to just 2days a week. The baguettes are tough as old boots imo and could do with being softer. I'd love to see a BLT here in sundried tomato bread and some different variety of sandwiches. Started to go to maxhouse now which is near this Greggs store as their sandwiches are not as bland and a huge variety. Now, I don’t like singling people out but Kathryn, who is weekday morning staff (a manager no less) needs customer service lessons from the others.
No greeting, no conversation, no goodbye. If this was the case with everyone, I’d not have named names BUT if you’re a workman, you get all the smiles and conversation.

Read moreI go to Geggs on Anlaby Road every workday. What i have found is Kathryn always goes above and beyond with her service. She sees me come into the shop and always has a smile on her face and she's very chatty, nothing is too much trouble for her. I look forward to chatting with her even though its brief sometimes.
