Wow what a place,just parked outside to call somewhere else,the door was open so went in,warmly greeted by Jerry he asked us if we had any connections to fishing,after thinking no,remembered that Caroline's grandad was on a hull trawler converted to a minesweeper and sunk in WW2,was killed in action 1941.Jerry found all about him for us in his wonderful enthusiastic manner,actually found newspaper articles containing picture of him,printed the article and pictures for us,very emotional,so this is the most Fantastic place to visit if your in anyway interested in Hull history,also well looked after by Dave and Sue.Cannot recommend this place highly enough please go visit and...

He had a lot of questions that was answered by an incredibly knowledgeable volunteer. He was so impressed with the museum. His farther, grandfather and great grandfather were all fisherman and he managed to find information on all of them!

The trawler men (all volunteers) who run it are extremely knowledgeable and friendly and are eager to tell stories and explain about the models etc. We have been several times and took some visitors from Essex who were fascinated. And it is FREE to visit but donations are always welcome as it costs over £1000 per month...
