We dropped in on spec yesterday for breakfast and we’re disappointed with what we received. I had the ed diner big breakfast. We waited a reasonable time for our food to arrive ,but I was diassapointed with what arrived. The eggs that t received looked like they had been cooked a very long time before they arrived the eggs were hard and dried out and the bacon was over cooked and dry and was a very thin streaky bacon that broke up when you tried to cut it. Very very poor vegetarian choices - so I opted for the cheese toastie and asked for chips with it. At first the person who served me started to ring up my order and then a different staff member shouted "NO - WE DONT HAVE ANY CHIPS". The customer directly behind me ordered something with chips - and got them! I queried this afterwards and was told that there were no chips - only fries! WHY NOT JUST TELL CUSTOMERS THAT CHIPS CANNOT BE SERVED WITH SANDWICHES! I won't be visiting...
