Whilst the food was absolutely delicious, the venue clean and bright and staff friendly, I have to reiterate some other comments on the portion size and cost.
We purchased two baguettes, two spring rolls and a steamed bun.
The bun - not much filling and somewhat tasteless.
Spring rolls - small and expensive, but BIG flavor, especially with the dipping sauce. Loved these, but felt they could be bigger.
Baguettes - both bursting with flavor, nice soft bread with a slight crunch on the outside and filling was not too bad. But left feeling that it was not enough for the price.
The waiting time was a little while, but this appears to be because they make everything fresh and to order and for the taste, it was worth the wait.
Sadly, I'm not sure id return. Compared to other local eateries they are expensive and the portion sizes small. I understand they are the only Vietnamese restaurant in the area, but other Chinese restaurants serve similar food for similar prices, but you get far more for the money.
It's an experience at least and...
ย ย ย Read moreLost trust. Edit: I was a loyal customer but will not be coming back. I loved Pho soup. I occured to me that it's umami flavour may come from MSG so I asked them, the response was a categoric no, they don't use MSG explaining why not. Next time I came, I noticed their big box of Bao long beef noodle seasoning which is essentially Pho soup stock cubes with E.621 (Monosodium glutamate). It's very open for everyone to see. They may have lied or not, but feel I cannot longer trust their disclosure of the ingredients used which it's a bit of a heart break because I loved coming here. Edit: what an imaginative response from the manager, I may be just one disappointed customer to you that you just want to discredit, but the review stays, if anything just to advice anyone with...

We tried lot's of different items including 3 different Banh Mi, a Bao bun, summer rolls and some drinks. The bread was awful, really dry and seemed factory made and possibly old. The fillings were meagre, unsatisfying and unable to make up for the dryness of the bread. The Bao bun seemed like the sort that is manufactured and then popped into the microwave in a paper bag. The summer rolls were the only saving grace and were missing the usual flavor bonus of fresh mint or other green herbs that are...
