Thai Warung Thai & Indo Food — Restaurant in Great Britain

Thai Warung (loosely translated to Thai Hut) Restaurant a little gem of a restaurant tucked away in a quiet street of Maidenhead that in my opinion delivers exceptional tasty food at reasonable price.

My wife and I dined at this restaurant for the first time (July 2023) where we had a wonderful welcome, which continued for the duration of our meal. The menu in comparison to larger chain of Thai restaurants may not be as extensive but there is good choice to please all. Also very pleased to say that the restaurant can adept there dishes for vegans for which chef/owner Omer, should be congratulated. Now that we have found this restaurant, we will be dining there much more frequently.

I read the reviews prior to coming and thought it would be a good idea to try a takeaway. My experience was ruined by the restaurant not giving me the peanut sauce for both of the satay chicken I ordered, so I called them but the guy must have not believed me as he had to ask the staff and then said sorry, I suggested to him if I could come back (they should have delivered it to me as it was there mistake) however after the phone call I couldn't be bothered to go back, I then tried the chicken and it was very cold and then tried the curry I ordered which was great and hot in temperature. Wow! We did a "Google" search for Thai restaurants, and decided on here, and so glad we did. A quaint building, lit with bamboo lanterns and with bench seats. There is an upstairs which appears to be a conservatory, and which looks sweet from outside. Food was absolutely delicious: fresh ingredients and freshly cooked. Lots of Deliveroo drivers, so hopefully it's popular with locals. Service friendly.
