KFC Gorleston on Sea - High Street — Restaurant in Great Yarmouth

To "save time" I decided to order on the app for the first time before I left work and followed the instructions on the app. I placed my order, checked in via the app on arrival, saw my order in the preparing section, saw it move into the collection section then watched it disappear. I queued up to ask where my order was only to be told that not only do I need to press check-in, I also have to queue up and tell them that I've arrived!! The app doesn't tell you that. This is because some people press check-in when they haven't arrived so by the time they do their food ends up cold. OMG do I follow the instructions or do I just use my telepathic powers? I got a refund. as I'd waited so long and went hungry instead. It appears I had to suffer because some others are dumb and the impression the staff gave me is that they were doing me a favour!! This was the last straw in a long list of problems I've had with this branch over the years. I'm done....

Ordered with Uber Eats for delivery. Ordered 3 Twisters, 2 chips, Boneless Banquet and Popcorn chicken as we were feeding our grandkids. When it arrived there was a Twister missing. I rang the restaurant and spoke to the manager who remembered my order and realised she had left one Twister out. She told me to complain to Uber. Well it wasnt Ubers fault that she couldnt count, it was hers. She said there was nothing she could do when I told her that one of us was not gonna get a meal. Poor service. Staff serving not remotely aware of customers waiting. Great to have a laugh at work but this was unacceptable. Stood waiting after being given hot food while waiting for ice creams. Food almost cold when they condescended to stop messing about and serve. Young lady called Shannon incredibly poorly trained.
