The Coachmakers Arms — Restaurant in Great Yarmouth

Went in here not too long ago to watch an entertainment act, and had the worst possible experience I've ever had in a pub (although I would consider 'dive bar with overpriced drinks' a better term).

It's far too small of a pub to have big crowds. Incredibly loud, to the point where you have to shout to be heard, and full of shady characters. A pub desperately in need of an update.

I, personally, was consistently harassed by the bartender for "not buying enough drinks", overall making me feel quite unwelcome and uncomfortable in the space. If I could rate the customer service with a zero or a minus-one, I would.

As well as this, I tried to buy another drink just to put more money in the till, and found that some drinks were hilariously overpriced, far beyond what I could afford.

The chalkboard above the bar showing the drink prices is out-of-date, admitted to me by a member of staff! This makes it confusing and inefficient to customers wanting to buy beverages.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! ⚠️

Overpriced, with an apparent drink limit required to enjoy the entertainment. Just because a person doesn't frequent your bar from OPEN to CLOSE 24/7, 365 days of the year like the majority of bar flies in there already doesn't give the staff the right to be RUDE and HOMOPHOBIC. People like me don't always go to a pub to get WASTED! Have come up to visit a very good friend that I've known for 20+ years. And I was here from the Thursday til the Monday I went here on the Friday night and it's was fantastic the staff was out of this world and also they had karaoke as well, I've not done karaoke for some time and sung for some time for me singing some old time favorites and to do a duet with my brother of mine from another mother, was out of this world.
